24 year old british show jumper, David Harland, has joined the TicTac Equestrian team. Harland has joined the online equestrian store to grow sales and endorse the elite range of products through his show jumping and coaching career.

David Harland’s Show Jumping Accolades: Harland's first major competition (at the age of six) was the Gleneagles Scottish Masters Final (finishing 3rd on his 12.2’’ pony). He continued competing at a high standard and went on to ride for England and Britain, travelling all around Europe and South Africa.

At the age of 19 he was head hunted by Des Le Marquand, based in Fintry, Scotland. This encouraged him to move up to Scotland to work at a professional show jumping yard. Here Harland was selected for team Great Britain, under 21’s squad - successfully qualifying for HOYS (Horse of the Year Show) and the British Open.

Harland earned prodigious respect in the Show jumping world, winning the Scottish Puissance and then the Scottish Gentleman’s Championship. Harland has jumped at every Scotland National Championship, with much success.

David Harland’s Circuit Exposure: In-between competing BSJA weekly (with between 8 and 10 horses) around the country, Harland trains young horses and coaches show jumpers. He also works closely coaching a very successful Pony Club.

Harland is very well known, and has a strong following, in the horse world due to his level of performance and weekly winnings. His job demands him travel the country weekly competing and teaching making him the ideal candidate to give your brand high-level exposure and endorsement.

TicTac Equestrian - Launching the new online horse shop

<img src="{{media url="wysiwyg/tic-tac-email-logo.jpeg"}}" alt="" />
Equestrian enthusiasts rejoice. A shopping revolution is upon us. TicTacEquestrian.com was born in the late months of 2011 and, like a well-loved horse, has quickly born the fruits of its founders’ extensive labour and bottomless love.

A fond horse owner herself, founder Jenny Arnold reflects on what TicTacEquestrian.com means to her.

“Tic-Tac was the name of my first pony and all horse owners know that your first pony holds a big place in your heart. She gave me invaluable insight into the joy of horse riding and a fantastic childhood. I had her from the age of 12 until she died when I was 28 and it seemed only natural she be reincarnated in our exciting new company,” Arnold says.

After decades of caring for beloved horses like Tic-Tac, Arnold was disappointed by the low availability of quality equestrian equipment and good selling practice in the UK. With the help of former Derby House expert Ryann Walker, she reviewed the market and designed a friendly, convenient and online solution to her and countless other riders’ frustrations.
<img src="{{media url="wysiwyg/_ATH1150.jpg"}}" align="left" style="padding-right: 20px;" width="200" height="300" alt="" />

The aim of their online business was to provide the horse rider with an online shopping experience that was personal to them and offered the tangibility of an in-store shopping experience. They do this through great customer service:

“My original training and experience is online marketing for hotels, so we have used my online shopping and conversion experience and contacts to create a powerful, customer focused customer shopping experience. We have a lot we still want to achieve and add to our website to continually grow and improve upon our website shopping. For example, this year we are working hard rolling our product videos and product reviews to allow customers to almost try and test their item before they buy it.” Arnold says.

After agonising over the best equestrian ranges in the world, Arnold and Walker sourced the most reputable brands for their online shop. Now you can order everything from grooming instruments and the finest horsewear to gorgeous riding kit and even canine treats from their trendy warehouse in the West End of Glasgow.

Among their most notable ranges is the brand new equestrian line by Dainese. Using the highest quality materials, Dainese is already competing with the likes of Equiport, Pikeur and Kingsland. One of its biggest selling points? “They make the sexiest Italian breeches and riding hats!” Arnold exclaims.

Before Arnold set up shop, many of the most popular brands could only be imported from Europe at high cost to the consumer. Brands like Equino, whose stunning leather made-to-measure chaps can now be ordered directly (and only) from TicTacEquestrian.com. And magic lotions, tried, tested and trusted by the TicTac Team: “Botanica creams are a miracle cure for rain scolds and mud rash. We are so excited to now bring them over from Ireland.”

Arnold is also thrilled to be the only independent retailer selling a unique style of magnetic therapy band. “They’re designed in Velcro bands and pads which can be worn 24/7. They are of far superior power and quality to other brands on the market, plus most other makes are sewn into rugs and boots which can only be worn for short periods of time, limiting impact,” Arnold says. She connected with the manufacturer after her own unexpected success with them.

“My TB had been lame and out of work for almost a year, but after three weeks using the magnetic therapy band he was ready to show jump again,” says Arnold. “I love it so much I’m even wearing the human version!”

The team is growing and we now have support from big British riders such as show jumpers and trainers David Harland, Andrew Wilson and John Cameron.

The TicTac Team stock all the expected equestrian brands and products, while also catering for Elite markets with popular niche brands such as Equiport, Pikeur, Dainese, Equino and Coolex. These are available online now, and will soon be available in the TicTac superstore due to open in Glasgow this year.

For these brands, news on the up and coming superstore and more, join the equestrian revolution at TicTacEquestrian.com. You can also reach Jenny Arnold on Twitter and Facebook, where she’s often found busily updating her followers on the latest news from TicTac and the rest of the horsing world.
